Roses are red my dear

You know that this is true

And with each passing year

I grow more in love with you

Roses are red as a fiery sky

The beauty of creation

Like the sparkle in your eye

That ignites my imagination

Roses are as red as my heart

That I now share with you

Two hearts that beat apart

And last a life time too
