The day after Thanksgiving is commonly referred to as “Black Friday”. This day is traditionally one of the busiest shopping days of the years and for many signifies the first day of Christmas shopping. While the term black Friday was originally used to represent the day in which retailers returned to profitability many who work in the retail industry use this term as a way to describe the crowds and chaos which accompany Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. Likewise consumers expect significant sales to go along with the large crowds which flock to stores.

Valentine Day is that time set aside every February 14th to express your love for that special someone in your life. The day is celebrated from grade school through adulthood. It begins with the exchanging of Valentine Day Cards and leads to the exchanging of diamond rings. It is a good holiday. Valentine Day is a time to go above and beyond in your pursuit to display your unrelenting affection. However, if you are truly in love than everyday can be Valentine Day. To many times in our society we wait for a special holiday to adhere to our feelings. Take Christmas for example, when everyone seems to be just a little more friendly, a time when the good in all of us seems to rise to the surface.
