Happy Father’s Day: The Daddy Versus The Father
By Will Curl
I have often heard those around me debating which is more valuable, a Daddy or a Father. It seems that many believe they are two different people. Some believe that anyone can be a Father but that it takes someone special to be a Daddy. Some make it known that the paternal holiday is called “Fathers Day’ and not “Daddy’s Day”. I find myself in amazement that the discussion even exists. Is there really a difference between a Father and a Daddy and if so what could it possibly be?
Those who say that anyone can be a Father are referring to the fact that most any man can father a child and therefore become a Father by title. However, others define a Father quite differently. For them the Father they honor on Fathers Day is the man who works hard to

Who Is The Father In Your Fathers Day?
Many countries around the world celebrate some type of Fathers Day. For the United States and many other countries that celebration occurs annually on the 3rd Sunday in June. For Australia Father’s Day occurs on the First Sunday in September. It seems like Fathers Day has been around forever but in fact it has only been a certified holiday in the United States since 1972. It took over sixty years to achieve this special day for Dads; Mothers Day had been a holiday since 1914 in the USA. Today, most of the world honors their Mothers and Fathers in some way. No one Father is the same. Our Fathers mean something different to all of us.
Today the rules of parenting have altered in some areas of the world. In some homes both parents have to

You knew one day this day would come
When I would marry the man of my dreams
It’s not about what I’m running from
But what I’m running too it seems
You have filled this special day with love
I am so proud to be your daughter
And know that when push came to shove
Your little girl remembered what you taught her
I have learned well so have no fear
My marriage sparks an eternal flame
A bond that will grow stronger each year
With the man who gives me his name
Our love for each other is so true
We were meant to be together
This day begets lessons from you
A marriage that will last forever
Father’s Day Poem From Baby Girl: Father, You Are My Hero
Happy Fathers Day from your baby girl
You have earned this special day
If you let me explain I’ll give it a whirl
And say what I have to say
You mean so very much to me
You’re my Daddy and so much more
You used to bounce me on your knee
Did’nt stop till you were sore
You worked hard both day and night
So that I would not go without
When I needed a hug you held me tight
A loving Father theres no doubt
As my hero you’ve earned my respect
You set the example in every way
You need not wonder or reflect
You have my love on this Fathers Day
Fathers Day Poems About Tools From Kids: Our Father And His Tools
There was a time when men were men
When a mans hands were worn to bone
Where hard work seemed to never end
And Fathers took care of their own
A time when tools were part of the hand
And a man was respected for his trade
When a firm handshake ruled the land
And a man stood by the choices he made
Our Father was formed of this mold
Working with tools melted his stress away
He treated his toolbox as though it were gold
And with his tools we did not play
His tools were for building and repair
If it could be done he’d find a way
He treated us with the same loving care
And he is loved on this Fathers Day
Father’s Day Poems From Kids: Best Daddy In The World
You’re the best Daddy by far
You are one of a kind
You stand up for who your are
And say whats on your mind
You have but one purpose Dad
To provide us a happy home
To make us smile when we are sad
And raise us till we’re grown
Hard work shows on your hands
Years of stress upon your face
You will not visit distant sands
Or bring peace to the human race
For us you’ve been an inspiration
And you’re our hero in every way
One of the best of your generation
The best Father on this Fathers Day
Fathers Day Poems From Babies To Daycare Owners: To My Second Father
I cannot talk but if I could
I know just what I’d say
You always treat me very good
When my parents work each day
Your daycare is my second home
And you take good care of me
I could not make it home alone
How scary would that be
There is one thing I hold true
You’ve been there in everyway
You’re like a second Father too
And it shows this Fathers Day
