Children love Christmas and Christmas loves children
And both bring smiles to our merry red faces
The tales of Christmas can’t help but make them grin
As they dream of Santa and faraway places
The children are dazzled by ornaments and bows
And the decorations that light up the street
With each passing day the anticipation grows
Until Christmas morn when visions and reality meet
The twinkle in a child’s eyes at Christmas time
Has the power to warm us to the bone
And the magical moments we all seek to find
Are found right there in our very own home

Christmas Memories

As Christmas nears once again
My mind drifts back to years gone by
Back long before I was even ten
The memories bring a tear to my eye

Christmas past was such a happy time
With all my family by my side
Real Christmas trees made of pine
Snow flakes falling softly outside

As I look back and recall the season
It was not really about presents or gifts
In my heart I have realized the reason
And it gives my Christmas spirit a lift

Christmas is about the love we share
About spending time with family and friends
A season to show how much we care
Christmas is a good time to make amends

Christmas memories make me sad and blue
For family, friends and youth no more
But I am making new Christmas memories too
And that makes my Christmas spirit soar

Christmas is such a special day
It is about moments that we share
Friends and family come our way
Excitement beyond campare
Time and distance keep us apart
All throughout the year
Then Christmas warms our heart
Because we have you here
Christmas is smiles and anticipation
Gathering around the Christmas tree
A heartfelt yuletide celebration
With all our friends and family

The Christmas season is here
There’s no better season I know
I smile from ear to ear
When I see Christmas snow

That first snow of white
That blankets the ground
And lights up the night
When there’s no light around

A feeling of peace in the air
A winter scene all a glow
No beauty can compare
To that first Christmas snow

I remember well Christmas past
The shadows fill my mind
Special memories seem to last
And stand the test of time

Christmas Eve’s so long ago
When families came together
Christmas songs on the radio
Are those days gone forever

Tossing and turning in our bed
Anticipation of Christmas morning
Restless dreams inside our head
Another Christmas day we’re yearning

Christmas Day is here once more
Presents are under the tree
This is what memories are for
All those Christmas’s stay with me

Christmas can warm the soul
Of the one who keeps it well
Allowing the spirit to take its toll
And in their hearts to dwell

Nights lit up with Christmas lights
Swirls of snow dance to the ground
Christmas magic born to new heights
Hope and Good will easily found

Christmas has a special way
Of bringing out our very best
All a little nicer on this holiday May this feeling never rest
