And how it goes depends
On what you do and say
Saying goodbye suggests
Finality unrelenting
Separation births the test
Relationships repenting
Strong bonds will prevail
Distance makes them stronger
Goodbye does not seem fair
As tears refrain no longer
Good friends hard to come by
You do not wish to part
Eventually the teardrops dry
