Poems to Say I’m Sorry: I’m Sorry
Sorry is such an emotional word
It seems so hard to say
The strain it takes is so absurd
To cause one to act this way
Allow me to venture profound
To run against the grain
To immolate that fearful sound
That brings about such pain
I will escape the shadow
And ponder what I’ve begun
For I want you to know
I’m sorry for all I’ve done
I did not mean to hurt you
It was not my intent
I ask your forgiveness true
As I seek to repent
