I know you worry about me Father
I know it’s hard to refrain
But let go of the stress and bother
Free yourself that pain

I am my Fathers Daughter
I’m strong as I am wise
Like the sun upon the water
My reflection in your eyes

I always look before I leap
Wear my heart upon my sleeve
No mountain is too steep
As long as you believe

You taught me without knowing
Setting the example everyday
The values you were showing
I picked up along the way

I am you and you are me
This bond is my guiding light
This should make you worry free
So get some rest tonight

Daddy, please don’t be depressed
I hate so to see you sad
I feel that I’ve been blessed
To have you for a dad

I know you think you failed
But that is just not so
Everyone can get derailed

You’ve always been there for me

The proof of our success
