Such sadness in our parting
So much sorrow in goodbye
Pain of separation starting
So many tears to cry
I did not wish to let you go
My life is not the same
Hurt I thought I’d never know
When I whisper your name
You were part of me
Two souls bound as one
Your spirit set me free
When our journey begun
Goodbye need not be forever
Only God knows our destination
We will always be together
As long as we have imagination
