Mother’s Day video poem for deceased mother: This Mother’s Day

By Will Curl On April 29, 2012 No Comments

This Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is here once again
My heart will fill with sorrow
This heart that may never mend
Only past memories to borrow
You passed away years ago
Yet I’m resisting the temptation
To call you on the phone you know
On this Mother’s Day celebration
In my heart you are still there
Waiting for my special call
But reality is not fair
For you’re not there at all Click here to continue reading

Mothers day video poem for deceased mother from daughter: Mothers day is not the same

Mothers Day Is Not The Same

Mothers Day is not the same without you here
To hug my neck and lend your ear
Your passing left a hole inside my heart
So many Mothers Days we’ve been apart
The only gratification I get on Mother’s Day
Is knowing I am like you in every way
Mothers Day will never be the same without you here
Such love and admiration in my falling tear

Losing A Friend

Friends are so unique
So very hard to find
Friends will not critique
They are one of a kind

To lose a friend to death
Empties out your heart
You know with their last breath
Your souls will never part

You Looked Like You Were Sleeping

By admin On July 20, 2010 1 Comment

As I watched you laying there so calm
I could have sworn that you were sleeping
The years of stress were no longer there
The shadow of pain had left your face

It seemed like you were napping Grandpa
Like you used to do on hot summer days
There was certainly a peace about you
I swear you looked relaxed to me Grandpa

Like a man resting after a long journey
I know that you are gone forever more
I will miss you for the rest of my life
But you looked like you were sleeping

Deceased mother poem: In Loving Memory Poem of Mother: Missing Mom

By admin On July 20, 2010 17 Comments

The years pass and I miss you so
How I’ve survived I just don’t know
You were my anchor for so very long
The one who taught me right from wrong

Back to when you tucked me in at night
Left my door open and turned on the hall light
The little things that you used to do
Now fond memories of all we went through

As I grew older you were always around
Cheering me up when I was down
No problem I had was ever too small
You always took the time to hear them all

Now that you’re gone I feel so alone
And although I know you rest by a throne
I miss you so much its selfish I know
But that is how much I love you so
Here at Poemvidz we welcome you to use our poetry in text and share

Deceased mother poems – I miss That Smile

By admin On July 20, 2010 6 Comments

Years have passed since you went away
It has given me much time to reflect

A lifetime of memories revisited
Newfound solace in their message

As I swim this ocean of memory
One thing rises to the surface

I realize how much I miss that smile
That smile you had for me

You always greeted me with that smile
It was special and unique

A smile from Mother to Child
That said I Love You

Deceased Mother Poems: A Mother’s Love

By Will Curl On July 20, 2010 2 Comments

A Mother’s love is binding
Unrelenting in its power
The glow from it so blinding
Beyond her final hour

Even after a Mother’s gone
Her love will see you through
A love to help you carry on
Because that’s what Mother’s do
