I Lost A Daughter And A Friend

When I lost my Daughter I lost a Friend
We were very close you know
If only I could see her again
Then I could tell her so

I loved her more than I even knew
Our bond was beyond imagination
Memories strengthened as she grew
From her birth to her graduation

A parent should go before their child
I pray that my heart will mend
And have faith I will be reconciled
With my Daughter and my Friend
