Memories Of Grandpa
My grandpa has been gone
For a dozen years or more
But loving memories linger on
I loved him that’s for sure
His voice hearty and loud
His stories warm and true
He always made me proud
With little things he’d do
He was a special guy
He made sure I knew
With each tear I cry
I know he loved me too
A Grandpa Is Special
A Grandpa is like a diamond
Many years form this treasure
Just like wine is better with age
This love we cannot measure
A Grandpa provides stories
A wisdom grown in living
A Grandpa does not judge
But finds solace in giving
A Grandpa is special
We hate to see them go
But we cherish their memory
And we love them so
