So My Sister is 40
So Sister you’re turning 40 Boo Hoo
Your glass looks half full
And you don’t know what to do
The years have taken its toll
You’re setting around silly and sad
Why do these Birthdays keep coming a round
It just makes you so mad
But when they stop you’ll be in the ground
Take a deep breath and enjoy each day
Cherish each day like it was heaven
Listen close to all that I say
Remember little sister I’m forty-seven
My Uncle Is Turning 40
My Uncle is turning 40 soon
He’s been quite depressed
He’s been sleeping till noon
I think he’s obsessed
He’s my favorite Uncle by far
He’s always been there for me
He lets me drive his car
For a minimum fee
Turning 40 is not bad
Not when you feel young
So please don’t be sad
Your life’s just begun
Turning 40
Turning forty births reflection
Your life passes before your eyes
Did you choose the right direction
The past will not disguise
Is your life almost over
So much you have not done
Never found a 4 leaf clover
Never saw a Tuscan sun
Have you been a good mate
A good father and a friend
Have you waited to late
Are you close to the end
Where did forty years go
Were you a big success
These answers you must know
If loved then you were blessed
Changing with age
Everything is falling
But don’t look so blue
Like the wine that gets better
So are you
Don’t worry about others
Or what they think
You’re just turning 40,
So don’t let your heart sink
So what if your hair
Turns to silver and grey
You’re not getting THAT old yet
It’s just change for one day.
Unite with your loved ones
Family and friends
40 isn’t so bad
Forty Going On Thirty
I cannot believe I’m forty
Where did the time go
I think I still look thirty
Or at least I think so
I still draw a stare
When I walk down the street
The years have been fair
I am not obsolete
Just a touch here and there
And I’m as good as new
I’m forty and I don’t care
I have so much to do
The 40th Birthday Poem
The 40th birthday births reflection
Causes many to stop and ponder
Have you found in life perfection
The question makes you wonder
Time has eluded you at every turn
The years have faded away
And even though its youth you yearn
You can’t live in yesterday
Find satisfaction in tomorrow
Find solace in what may lay ahead
Grow happiness from sorrow
And plan for your 80th birthday instead
