Mother’s day is close once more
An opportunity to thank you for

The many things you did for me
Although at times I couldn’t see

Your wisdom so true and clear
Left me clam and free of fear

So before I let this day go by
Allow me an opportunity to try

And tell you how I feel inside
This feeling I cannot hide

This mother’s day I must confess
My mother is the very best
